10.5" x 4" x 3.75"
( 26.67 x 10.16 x 9.525 cm)

This Taoist official sits in a stiffly formal position upon a backless chair set upon a high pedestal which appears to be covered in front by a simulated red and gold ritual cloth. His surcoat with long flowing sleeves is open at the front to reveal a plain undergarment robe. His hands are crossed and held in front of his chest ritualistically as if to hold a hu tablet. He wears a hat associatedd with military attire, which would have been ridged of woven ratan with a broad band border.

There are losses to the lacquer finish and remains of the original red and green pigmentation.
