This charming porcelain cat is an ingenious Chinese creation, as it is not simpoly a beautiful figurine. It is also, in fact, a teapot. The head of the cat is removable so then one can fill the body with hot tea, and one can pour one's tea through the hole in the upraised paw. It is designed so there is no spillage, and when not in use it is a charming decorative item. These teapots come in a number of sizes and decorative colors for the "cat accessories" painted on the white porcelain.
