This guardian figure stands on a high red base highly decorated in red with gold designs. He stands with his hands clasped together at the chest in reverence leaning slightly to his left. Figures such as these were often placed flanking a significant spiritual, civilian or military figure, thus he might have been placed at the right side of the central figure with an accompanying inward leaning image on the left side. He smiles blissfully below an elaborate circular hat, and is attired in a decorative uniform which flares outath the bottom of the shirt above high boots.
